Necessity

(Jesus:)

The secret of folks and parents and families in the old days was necessity. The reason why they clung together through thick and thin, no matter to what degree individual interests may have differed, was that it was necessary for them, in order to survive.

Kids in those days were not just asked timidly, "Oh, and would you mind helping us with the work out on the field today? That would be so nice!" - They had to, or else their whole family might not have survived the winter, and they might have starved.

Necessity was the glue that kept them together, and that's precisely the stuff that's being eliminated from today's families and from society today. People don't need each other anymore. The need to be needed is not that bad, it is a basic factor that kept famlies surviving for millennia.

Things simply won't get accomplished if you keep on waiting for people to develop interest! The Devil is a much too cunning master at the art of distraction, in order for anyone to develop sufficient interest in doing My will voluntarily, just because it happens to be so interesting. "Necessity is laid unto me to preach the gospel" (1Cor.9:16). The only thing that works is that you realize you need to do it, whether you feel like it, whether it happens to be your particular field of interest, or not!

The alternative is going to be that you're going to be standing in front of My throne pretty much ashamed for having wasted your life on any other, much less worthy cause.

The alternative is a useless, wasted life, at the end of which, when you will be asked, "What have you done with your life," the answer is going to be quite embarrassing, unless you've got some works to show for that you perhaps didn't feel like doing, but did out of necessity, just "cause Daddy said so."

You cannot just let a child do whatever he or she wants, and whatever they're craving and feel like doing, no matter how "noble," how "democratic" and how politically correct it may appear in the eyes of today's society!

You want to appear as "correct" in the eyes of your children in this aspect: "I never forced you to do anything you didn't want to." But the sad answer one day may well be, "Well, perhaps that's precisely what you should have!" "You should have stopped me from doing my own silly thing, and you should have been more pervasive in your efforts to get me to do God's will instead!"

Otherwise, you'll just let them make a mess of things!

That's the way it used to be in families: you had to do certain things, whether you liked them or not! But by today's concept of families, that's taboo! You don't force a child to do things they don't want to do, because that might be labeled "child labor."

Sometimes you've simply got to realize that you're doing people a huge favor by making them do certain things that may never occur to them out of their own incentiveIif you don't happen to have the energy to be doing all of those things yourself, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's wrong to tell others to do it! That used to be perfectly okay and acceptable - in fact, that used to be what was expected of children - all throughout history, until this present century!

You see that modern "enlightenment" is not really all that bright, when it comes down to it?

After all, that's what I gave young people all their energy for! Not to be wasting it on selfish endeavors, but to invest it in helping others, those who they ought to show their gratitude to for having raised them, fed them and brought them through life successfully to this point, anyway!

That whole natural circle of how families work has been interrupted by the Devil's own brainwashing and conditioning of the people!

He isolated them all into jobs in which they couldn't possibly be helped by their children, so that he could have them sent off to his schools instead, and become thoroughly brainwashed in order to become useful cogs in his machinery someday, too.

Oddly enoughyou don't hear a lot of ex-members ever complain about witnessing! Because it used to be one of the most thrilling experiences in their lives! They may not even believe in any of that stuff anymore they used to tell people when they were in the Family, but they know deep down inside that this witnessing thing, it had something to it! It made them feel different! And no wonder: it brought down the power of the Holy Spirit on them like nothing ever could.

So, don't be as foolish as to bar your child from the golden opportunity to make the absolutely best out of her time and life she possibly could! Don't leave it up to her to waste her life in trivia instead! She'll be sorry, you'll be sorry, and there won't be an end to sorry once you get to see all the golden opportunities missed by such foolishness.

It's either the option of My will, or nothing else, period! It's either survival, making it, cutting the cake, or nothing else! Because we won't accept death and defeat and the total loss of every golden opportunity strewn along the pathway of your lives as an option! They won't do! We won't even consider an alternative! There is no alternative! The alternative of what would happen if you don't do this and don't involve her in your work for Me is one that you don't seriously want to consider, because it will be one story of regret with no end, if you do, if you give in to the Devil's whims: "Oh, please let me distract her from doing God's highest will!"

Believe Me, you won't consider the alternatives as something good, if you see them from My point of view! The alternative is not really something you want to consider in your right mind! It's high time to awaken from slumber!
